I was hesitant to book a call with Sable. I've tried to work with other people and was mad at myself because it was a waste of money. Sable was worth every penny! From the questionnaire before the call, to the notes she sent me after the call, she cares ya'll! She took the time to make sure she understood what I needed and checked in on my throughout the call and weeks after the call. It was like being on the phone with your girlfriend but getting everything you needed. I can't wait to email her my progress!

When I first consulted with Sable it was to help me transition to another state. Then I came back around and said, "okay for the time being I just need a new job." She was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. She answered every email, gave great tips, and gave my resume and cover letter an extreme upgrade. I know it's because of her work and guidance that I got the job that I wanted. She's more than a career consultant, she's a realist!

I had the pleasure of working with Sable and Real Brown Girls during her Fall into Formation accountability group. I had been feeling frustrated and stick in my business for awhile and Sable helped me really make sense of things. I was able to not only gain clarity, but get laser focused on goals and action steps that really mattered.

The timing of Sable’s vision planning course was predetermine. For the past two years I’ve been starting projects on and off. I would get a spark of inspiration, but I quickly lost steam and never accomplished any of them. Needless to say I had been losing confidence in my ability to finish projects and to accomplish the goals I set for myself. Her workshop felt like what its like when you get a creative spark and the light bulb turns on. It’s not that I’m not able to finish projects its that I have been setting unrealistic goals in terms of the time and resources I would need and quickly becoming overwhelmed and giving up. She guided me in creating a full proof plan to achieving my goals. I saw immediately how I approached doing the work differently. I’m not as anxious or overwhelmed, instead I feel more focused and confident. In addition she was professional and authentic during every interaction I had with her. And the authority she exuded during the workshop provided a great model for me to practice in my work. Plainly stated Sable is gold and I thank myself for taking the chance and seeking the support!

Sable gave me a new resume and cover letter. In between one of our sessions, I began an application for a position with my documents. Before I submitted, the application I received an email saying, “I saw that you started your application…Based on what I see…I wanted to let you know we consider you high candidate for this role.” A week later they called me to interview.

"There is no way I can express just how much I got out of this program! Sable is a genuine soul who truly cares about each woman she comes into to contact with. The one-on-one alone was priceless and Sable opened my eyes to so much more that I had been missing. Not only did she provide great career advise she provided small actionable steps on how to go about achieving greatness and used a very holistic approach. In the group Sable reached out to everyone individually to ensure every woman was truly held accountable and received guidance based on her unique style. Sable is the ultimate girlfriend you need in your corner- cheering you on while holding you accountable...truly priceless."

I'm so happy I stumbled across Real Brown Girls. With Sable's help, guidance, and encouragement I've managed to make myself and my goals a top priority. Sable also helped me with three things that I felt were important in my life. To be motivated, to have courage and to be accountable. Working with Real Brown Girls I have accomplished more towards my goals and my business in the last 3 months than I did the entire year.

"Days after Sable B.’s visit, our scholars (students) are still talking about her and all of the help she provided. It takes a pool of patience and charisma to secure the attention of 11-14 year olds. And to also have them working?! Sable is truly a seasoned veteran in the industry. The room was buzzing with a collective, focused energy. At the end of the workshop students walked away with a clear understanding of how to organize, create and revise their resumes. Later, our students would willingly (and some voluntarily) work on their assignment. That is truly a testament to how Sable. B can take a project as tedious and unexciting as resume writing and turn it into a fun, interactive project."
